Innocence Project Northwest
(Washington State)

The innocence project works to exonerate wrongly convicted felons through DNA testing, exploration of false memory, and erroneous police interview practices. Through the efforts of volunteer law students and attorneys, IPNW has overturned the convictions of 12 innocent people in Washington state. The Riverstyx Foundation has provided funds to help the Innocence Project build capacity at the University of Washington Law School, and continues to support their vitally needed efforts working for those falsely imprisoned.
